In post-partum, you'll be guided through the c-section scar rehabilitation to prevent adhesions which could lead to pelvic floor issues later on such as urgencies, pain with intercourse, bowel dysfunctions, abdominal and lower back pain.
What to expect in physiotherapy
Your physiotherapist will work with you to develop a tailored exercise and education plan focused on strengthening your core and pelvic floor muscles, improving posture, and teaching safe movement techniques. You’ll also receive guidance on breathing strategies and pain management to help reduce anxiety and prepare your body for surgery.
